Blueberry bushes

My tree took a bit of a battering when first purchased from gardening centre. It got knocked over a few times while still in the pont! This explains the brown (bruised) leaves and I assumed, once planted, that it was flowering much also as a result of the stress. However, it’s now being eaten alive by insects / pests/ etc. The leaves have all been munched up and I’ve noticed that the tree is growing taller but not really gowing to the sides.
Then, I noticed today that pests have moved on to my blueberry bushes which are not near the tree… the leaves are mostly 1/2 eaten…
I’m very reluctant to use standard pesticides and I even bought some ladybirds and a little wooden house + food for them. I was the laughing stock of friends and relatives, even more so when then the ladybirds just vanished!
Any suggestions, please?

Bite the bullet and get a johnson spray can and some sevin Liquid. Read the Directions. Spray and save your plants. Re spray after each rain because it washes off.

You will probably have to get some Seven. I comes in a liquid or powder. It is really the only thing I have found to get rid of pests. My rose bushes were being eaten alive by Japanese Beetles and the only thing that worked was Seven. Re-apply once a week. Good Luck.

I think you should use something. . . . . Look for a “green” product that is safe for the enviroment and for your blueberry bushes. . . . Also, you can hose the plants down with soapy water. . . . . . I’m not an expert, but I understand that this helps sometimes. I guess the little critters don’t like the soap. . .
