Blueberry bushes



Baguio City, Philippines is the coldest city is this third world filled with typhoonish weather (consistent rain). The city is abundant with pine trees and coconuts are not a scene to be had… Can I grow blueberries in my yard or must I need four seasons?

    In Connecticut, USA it only grows in the summer actually I think it’s the first berry to come out. So it needs to be real warm to hot. There crop is low to the ground, I don’t think the rain would be good for that, they will drown.
    good luck, how about a greenhouse???

    Blueberries need 150 chilling hours to produce fruit. Sure the plant may grow, but you will not get fruit if its in the wrong climate. If you have that climate go right ahead. I don’t think that blueberries will fruit in “tropical climates”.
