So I planted a blueberry bush three months ago and it is still the same size as it was before. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening because I planted other plants and they grew just fine. By the way I live in San Diego California.

Have your soil tested and make sure that the necessary conditions exist to grow blueberries.

I live in south Florida and we have acidic sandy soils, but have trouble growing blueberries because our water is very alkaline. We lose the advantage of the acid soil when we irrigate. There is a fledgling blueberry industry here, and those that are successful are actually growing the blueberry plants in windrows of composted pine bark, rather than planting them directly in the native soil.

They do not make lush fast growing, vigorous looking plants.
If your other plants are healthy and growing, you are doing the right things. Check to be sure your soil and water are acid. You can acidify the soil if necessary with sulfur, or you could dig up the plant and heavily amend the soil with peatmoss or some other acidic organic matter. Good luck.
